The club has not been together in quite some time. The board of the MMAS has been planning on a fall return to in person membership meetings since the spring.  Unfortunately, the museum has been closed for 4.5 months and that has put a large economic strain on the institution.  We have been notified that the museum will no longer be open on Thursday nights.  This has forced us to rethink and reimagine our meetings.  The director of the museum has not only encouraged us to continue to have the meetings, but has also made suggestions on how to proceed.

This is what we figured out:

For the foreseeable future, the club will conduct in person membership meetings at the Morris Museum.  The meetings will be held on SATURDAY’S at 11:30AM.

Meeting dates:

Sept. 12

Oct. 10

Nov. 14

Dec. TBD

Meetings will be held in the theater vestibule (the room behind the front desk).  There will be a maximum of 12 seats available in the meeting area.  Masks must be worn and chairs will be spaced accordingly.  If you plan on attending the meeting you MUST register with our Program Chair, Bob Caccaro - .  For those of our members that do not feel comfortable attending we are going to attempt to broadcast the meeting on Facebook Live via our Facebook page .

We hope that this is a temporary solution and is one that will work for everyone.

All the best,

Anthony J Pisano
